چکیده
The heat convection phenomenon has been investigated numerically (mathematically) for a channel located horizontally and partially heated at uniform flux with forced free convection. horizontal fluid inlet the enclosure was exposed to source from bottom while upper side kept constant temperature equal outlet temperature. Transient, laminar, incompressible mixed convective flow is assumed within channel. Therefore, field estimated using Navier Stokes equations, which involves Boussinesq approximation. While calculated standard energy model, where, Re, Pr, Ri are Reynolds number, Prandtl Richardson respectively. number (Re) changed during test 1 50 (1, 10, 25, 50) each case study, (Ri) 25 5, 15, 20, and, 25). average Nusselt (Nuav) increases exponentially Reynold local (NuI) rises in heating point. Then gradually stabilized until reaching endpoint of decrease over there. In addition, streamlines isotherms patterns very low value indicate transfer all values number. Furthermore, near source, rate rise that clarified behavior indicating maximum Nu No. 6, 12, 27 31 Re 1, 50, respectively

Dynamical System Analysis of Thermal Convection in a Horizontal Layer of Nanofluids Heated from Below
The effect of nanofluids on chaotic convection in a fluid layer heated from below was studied in this paper for low Prandtl number based on the theory of dynamical systems. A low-dimensional, Lorenz-like model was obtained using Galerkin-truncated approximations. The fourth-order Runge-Kuttamethodwas employed to solve the nonlinear system. The results show that inhibition of chaotic convection ...

This paper presents the results of a numerical study on the heat transfer performance and the removal process of fluid particles under the influence of magnetohydrodynamic mixed convection in a horizontal channel with an open cavity. The bottom wall of the cavity is heated at a constant temperature (Th) while the top wall of the channel is maintained at a relatively low temperature (Tc). Air wi...
متن کاملApproximate solution of laminar thermal boundary layer over a thin plate heated from below by convection
In this paper, an integration of a symbolic power series method - Padé approximation technique (PS - Padé), was utilized to solve a system of nonlinear differential equations arising from the similarity solution of laminar thermal boundary layer over a flat plate subjected to a convective surface boundary condition. As both boundary conditions tended to infinity, the combination of series solut...

متن کاملTransient laminar opposing mixed convection in a differentially and asymmetrically heated vertical channel of finite length
Transient laminar mixed convection in an asymmetrically and differentially heated vertical channel of finite length subject to an opposing buoyancy is investigated by solving the unsteady two-dimensional Navier–Stokes and energy equations. Results illustrate the effects of buoyancy strength or Richardson number Ri 1⁄4 Gr=Re and Reynolds number Re on the overall flow structure and the nondimensi...
